Service Description

Precision Gelcoat Correction Without Full Refinishing Wet Sanding Spots Toronto is a targeted correction service designed to remove localized scratches, oxidation, dock rash, and gelcoat blemishes without committing to full hull or deck refinishing. The Problem Deep scratches, isolated oxidation patches, and surface defects interrupt reflection and reduce resale value. Left untreated, these imperfections trap dirt, worsen visually, and may deepen over time. Full-surface sanding is not always necessary. Many boats only require strategic correction in high-impact areas. The Process We isolate the damaged section and measure defect depth. Using controlled wet sanding with fine marine-grade abrasives and water lubrication, we carefully level the imperfection. The area is then machine compounded and polished to restore gloss and blend with surrounding gelcoat. Each spot is treated independently to avoid unnecessary material removal. Materials & Tools Marine-specific sanding discs, controlled grit progression, water lubrication systems, dual-action polishers, microfiber pads, and professional compounds ensure safe correction. Environmental Responsibility Wet sanding minimizes airborne dust and avoids harsh chemical stripping agents. All slurry residue is controlled and properly managed. Outcome Scratches are leveled, oxidation removed, and gloss restored in the corrected area. The surface is prepared for protection via wax or coating. Structural damage requires repair. Will the repaired area match the surrounding gloss? Yes. We compound and polish to blend the area into surrounding surfaces. Is wet sanding safe for gelcoat? When performed professionally with correct grit progression, yes. Does this include gelcoat repair? No. Gelcoat fills or structural repairs are separate services.

Non-Refundable Deposit •A $250 CAD deposit is required to secure all service bookings. •This deposit is applied as a credit towards the total service cost but is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, boat sale, or other circumstances that prevent service completion as scheduled. 2. Ownership Transfer During Service •If the boat is sold before service completion, the original client remains responsible for all service fees. •The new owner may continue the service by providing written consent and assuming payment responsibilities. •Refunds will not be issued for services started or materials allocated. 3. Liability Waiver •We Beautify Boats is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or manufacturer faults affecting the boat during service. •Clients agree to release and hold harmless We Beautify Boats, its employees, and affiliates from any claims or damages except those arising from proven negligence. 4. Service Guarantees •Services are performed to the highest standards using certified materials and methods. •We are not liable for damages resulting from untreated pre-existing issues or poor maintenance practices. 5. Media Release •Photos and videos may be taken of your boat before, during, and after service. These materials may be used for promotional and commercial purposes without additional permissions or compensation. •Clients may opt out by submitting a written request before services begin. 6. Scheduling and Cancellations •Services must be scheduled in advance and confirmed. •Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled service date will incur a cancellation fee equal to the $250 deposit. 7. Intellectual Property •All techniques, methods, and tools used during our services are proprietary to We Beautify Boats. Clients may not reproduce or utilize these for commercial purposes. 8. Payment Terms •Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. For extensive services, milestone payments may apply. •Non-payment may result in additional fees or legal action. 9. Acknowledgment of Terms By confirming a service booking, you acknowledge and accept these terms. This policy is visible on all invoices, contracts, and booking confirmations.
