Meet The Team

Mobile yacht & boat detailing across Ontario’s freshwater marinas—built on values, documented protocols, and year-round craftsmanship.
"We don’t run a “boat cleaning crew.”

We run a marine service system—Hull, Deck, Interior, and Bottom—delivered by trained technicians working inside strict scopes, safety standards, and quality control.

Every role exists for one reason: protect vessel value with evidence-based workmanship.

Our Roles

We build  high-performance teams aligned with Beauty, Flow, Kaizen, Stretch Goals, and Respectful Rapport. Each role plays a distinct and critical part in delivering excellence across our service offerings —

Our Values

321E293C-6F53-4FFD-9CBA-83E781C8EFC8.jpg

At We Beautify Boats, we don't just "clean" vessels. We pursue mastery. Our operation is built on six non-negotiable values that guide every technician, from the bilge to the bridge.

1. Stretch Goals & Kaizen

(Continuous Improvement) We document every pre-service condition and time every task. We don't settle for "good enough." We apply the ancient principle of Kaizen—constant evolution. We set the bar high, and then we raise it.

2. Finding the Flow State

Whether we are sanding a 60-foot hull or organizing a chaotic locker, we look forward. We visualize the finished result before we start. We don't get lost in the mess; we find the flow to "get 'er done" efficiently and beautifully.

3. Unconscious Competence

We train until the complex becomes second nature. When our crew walks up to a disaster boat, they don't panic. They say, "I got this." No questions necessary. Just calm, confident execution.

4. Respectful Rapport

A boat is a team environment. We treat your vessel, your family, and our crew with absolute respect. There is no cursing, no judgment, and no drama. We create a safe, beautiful place to work and play.

5. Love If you don't love it, don't do it.

We love the process. We love the smell of a clean bilge, the gleam of refinished teak, and the satisfaction of a job done right. We believe that everything—from the docks to the bridges—was built with love, and we honor that by maintaining it with love.

6. Evidence-Based Action (STRATOS)

We are emotion-free when it comes to decisions. We don't guess at pricing or processes; we follow the data, the service matrix (Levels 1–5), and the physics of the boat.

We Work. You Play. We Love What We Do.

Our Founder

Shane “Spike” Desloges is the founder of We Beautify Boats, a precision-driven yacht detailing company serving Ontario’s freshwater fleet.

With over 25 years of hands-on marine experience, Spike built the company on clearly defined service levels, documented processes, and measurable results—eliminating guesswork from boat care.

His work spans hull restoration, bottom preparation, interior remediation, and long-term maintenance planning, grounded in clean marine practices and environmental responsibility. Spike is also the creator of BoatersOS, a marine after-sales data platform designed to help boat owners manage maintenance with clarity and confidence.

At its core, We Beautify Boats exists to protect vessel value, extend service life, and raise the standard of professional boat care through disciplined craftsmanship and shared knowledge.
