Launch Ready Plan : Because Spring Cleaning is A Good Thing!

Spring is not the time for surprises. It is the time for clarity, shine, and momentum. Unfortunately, many boats are shrink-wrapped in the fall without a proper detail, meaning spring becomes a stressful period of recovery instead of an exciting preparation. Winter storage leaves a significant amount of residue behind—especially under shrink wrap, where carbon, dust, and condensation settle deeply into the non-skid and hardware over the cold months.
The Launch Ready Plan is a one-time, intensive reset designed specifically to bring your boat out of hibernation clean, corrected, and confident.

What This Service Is Designed to Do
This plan is designed to sharpen, refresh, and refine a vessel that is already in generally good condition. It solves the problem of arriving at the dock on the first warm weekend only to find a stale cabin, dirty canvas, and a slightly chalky hull. Success realistically means establishing a perfectly clean baseline across the entire vessel—a protected hull, a sanitized interior, and a brilliant deck—so you can simply step aboard, untie the lines, and start your season without touching a scrub brush.
How the Work Is Performed
We approach this as a comprehensive, multi-stage spring commissioning. On the exterior, we execute a Level 3 Deck Wash to deeply scrub away all winter accumulation, clearing the lockers and preparing the surfaces for the season. Below the rub rail, we perform a Level 2 Hull Polish, using a medium machine polish to remove light oxidation before applying a durable protective coating to lock in the shine.
Inside the cabin, a Level 3 Interior Detailing provides a deep steam-clean, surface sanitization, and deodorizing treatment to refresh the air and fabrics after months of closed storage. Finally, we carefully reinstall your canvas coverings, checking the zippers and ensuring proper alignment and tensioning for optimal fit and protection.

What This Service Is Not Intended For
It is crucial to understand that this is a seasonal preparation service, not an extreme restoration package. The included hull polishing stage is strictly for light oxidation; it does not cover the heavy compounding or wet sanding required for severely neglected, chalky gelcoat.
The interior detailing explicitly excludes Level 4 mold remediation or pest abatement. Furthermore, we handle the cosmetic and environmental commissioning, not mechanical engine tune-ups or plumbing de-winterization, which must be handled by your mechanic.
Why This Level Matters
The condition your boat wakes up in dictates how it will perform aesthetically all summer long. If you ignore the winter fallout and skip the protective coatings before splashing the boat, the summer sun will immediately bake that contamination deep into the gelcoat. By returning the deck to a clean baseline and sealing the hull in the spring, you dramatically lower your maintenance costs and physical effort for the rest of the year.
When A Launch Ready Package Is the Right Choice
This plan is the ideal choice for owners who have maintained a regular service schedule in the past and simply need an intensive professional reset to kick off the new season. You will know it is time when the winter cover comes off, the boat looks structurally intact, but the surfaces feel flat to the touch and the cabin smells like a long, cold winter.

When This Level Is No Longer Enough
If your boat was not maintained consistently the previous year and emerges from storage with extreme, heavy oxidation, deep structural stains, or an interior overrun by active black mold, this plan will not deliver its intended results. Those severe conditions require targeted, multi-day restorations like a Level 4 Hull Polish and specialized interior abatement before standard seasonal prep can even begin.
We believe that your season should begin with excitement, not a chore list. We handle the intense spring preparation deliberately and methodically so you can step away knowing your boat is protected and ready to impress.
