The missed opportunity

In 2019, Spike's Marine Station launched a crowdfunding campaign and submitted a bid to be part of the Ontario Place Redevelopment—both of which were unfortunately unsuccessful.

Yet, this only strengthened our commitment to create a hub for environmental stewardship, cultural celebration, and sustainable marine services.

Today, we continue our journey with a renewed vision to bring this resource to life for Ontario’s waterfront community.
