Deck Wash -Level 3 Intensive Cleaning
In-depth deck cleaning for boats with heavy grime and buildup.
Service Description
When a boat changes hands, prepares for the brokerage market, or hasn't seen professional detailing recently, dirt stops sitting on the surface and embeds into the textures. Deck Wash Level 3 is an intensive boat deck cleaning service designed for a major top-side reset. We approach this as an inch-by-inch deep clean. We apply a high-strength, eco-friendly detergent across all deck surfaces. For hard fiberglass non-skid, we escalate to stiff-bristle brushes to aggressively lift embedded carbon, spider droppings, and baked-on runoff. At this level, we open and clean the interior and exterior faces of every deck locker, scrub canvas undersides, and systematically wash vinyl and windows. We also introduce Universal Stone by hand to gently exfoliate stubborn organic staining that standard detergents cannot move. We finish with a controlled power rinse and a meticulous microfiber dry. This is strictly a cleaning service. It explicitly excludes surface correction, gelcoat oxidation removal, polishing out scratches, or structural repairs. Success means the boat is entirely neutralized of its historical dirt, providing a completely clean slate. If the non-skid is lost beneath thick moss, hardened sap, or heavy mold colonies, this intensive scrub is no longer sufficient, signaling a required escalation to our disaster-level Deck Wash Level 4. FAQ Section • Do you clean inside the deck lockers during this wash? Yes. Level 3 includes opening and deep-cleaning the interior and exterior faces of all accessible deck lockers to remove embedded grime and mildew. • Does this service fix faded or chalky gelcoat? No. Level 3 is an intensive cleaning service. If your gelcoat is oxidized, this wash will leave it perfectly clean but still chalky. Restoring shine requires our Deck Polishing services. • How long does a Deck Wash Level 3 take? It requires 1.5–2 hours for an average 30-foot boat, though time varies depending on the number of lockers, contamination level, and deck complexity.
