Service Description
Epoxy Barrier Coat Application (Labour Only) Epoxy Barrier Coat Application is a professional hull protection service designed to reduce moisture intrusion and help prevent osmotic blistering below the waterline. Each coat is applied using marine-grade epoxy systems with strict adherence to manufacturer mix ratios, recoat windows, and cure requirements to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Service Includes (per coat): Pre-application surface verification and cleanliness check Accurate mixing and induction of epoxy components Controlled application to achieve uniform coverage and film thickness Monitoring of recoat timing and environmental conditions Minimum Requirement: 3 coats required for effective barrier protection Paint and materials supplied by owner unless quoted separately Important Notes: Surface preparation (laser removal, sanding, or other bottom prep) is not included unless specified Epoxy Barrier Coat Application by We Beautify Boats requires equivalent Level 4 bottom paint removal as required prior to application. Final antifouling paint application is billed separately
Service Policy
By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Non-Refundable Deposit • A $250 CAD deposit is required to secure all service bookings. • This deposit is applied as a credit towards the total service cost but is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, boat sale, or other circumstances that prevent service completion as scheduled. 2. Ownership Transfer During Service • If the boat is sold before service completion, the original client remains responsible for all service fees. • The new owner may continue the service by providing written consent and assuming payment responsibilities. • Refunds will not be issued for services started or materials allocated. 3. Liability Waiver • We Beautify Boats is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or manufacturer faults affecting the boat during service. • Clients agree to release and hold harmless We Beautify Boats, its employees, and affiliates from any claims or damages except those arising from proven negligence. 4. Service Guarantees • Services are performed to the highest standards using certified materials and methods. • We are not liable for damages resulting from untreated pre-existing issues or poor maintenance practices. 5. Media Release • Photos and videos may be taken of your boat before, during, and after service. These materials may be used for promotional and commercial purposes without additional permissions or compensation. • Clients may opt out by submitting a written request before services begin. 6. Scheduling and Cancellations • Services must be scheduled in advance and confirmed. • Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled service date will incur a cancellation fee equal to the $250 deposit. 7. Intellectual Property • All techniques, methods, and tools used during our services are proprietary to We Beautify Boats. Clients may not reproduce or utilize these for commercial purposes. 8. Payment Terms • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. For extensive services, milestone payments may apply. • Non-payment may result in additional fees or legal action. 9. Acknowledgment of Terms By confirming a service booking, you acknowledge and accept these terms. This policy is visible on all invoices, contracts, and booking confirmations.
