There is a point where routine maintenance ends and methodical cleaning becomes necessary. Not because a boat has failed—but because time, exposure, and inactivity have allowed contamination to settle everywhere at once.

Deck Wash Level 3 exists for that point.


This service is designed for boats carrying heavy grime, widespread buildup, and early-stage staining across decks, lockers, vinyl, windows, and trim. It is often the first serious service of the season, especially for boats that have sat unattended for weeks or months. It is still a cleaning service—not restoration or disaster recovery—but it is no longer light or selective.


Level 3 is where control is re-established.


What Deck Wash Level 3 Is Designed to Do


Deck Wash Level 3 is intended to reset the entire topside of a boat that has drifted beyond routine or enhanced maintenance. At this stage, contamination is no longer limited to walk paths or obvious traffic areas. It has settled into non-skid texture, around hardware bases, inside lockers, along seams, and in areas that lighter services simply do not reach.


The goal is to return the vessel to a known, manageable baseline. One where future maintenance can be planned instead of improvised, and where surface condition can be accurately evaluated without dirt masking underlying issues.

This is the level that turns uncertainty into clarity.


How the Cleaning Is Performed


Deck Wash Level 3 begins with the application of a strong, eco-friendly cleaning solution across all deck surfaces. From there, cleaning is carried out inch by inch, with deliberate attention to non-skid texture, seams, fittings, transitions, and areas of embedded buildup.

Unlike Levels 1 and 2, this service includes full cleaning of all deck lockers, both exterior faces and interior surfaces. Vinyl seating, windows, zippers, and trim are cleaned completely, not selectively. Nothing is skipped simply because it is time-consuming or inconvenient.

At this level, we also introduce Universal Stone where appropriate. It is a 100% biodegradable, hand-applied product used to gently exfoliate stubborn contamination that standard detergents can no longer lift—without harming surfaces, technicians, or the surrounding environment. Its use is targeted and controlled, not broad or aggressive.


Once cleaning is complete, all areas are thoroughly rinsed and dried to prevent water spotting and mineral residue.


On an average 30-foot boat, Deck Wash Level 3 typically requires 1.5 to 2 hours, with time increasing based on deck complexity, number of lockers, and contamination level.


What Deck Wash Level 3 Does Not Do


Deck Wash Level 3 is comprehensive cleaning, not correction.

It does not include oxidation removal, surface polishing, stain correction beyond cleaning limits, or any form of restoration or repair. If discoloration, damage, or surface failure remains after Level 3, that indicates the boat has moved beyond structured cleaning and into a different service category.


At that point, escalation—not more force—is required.
