After a transformative month away We Beautify Boats hurricane relief Jamaica I’m proud to announce that We Beautify Boats is now reopened for bookings as of December 15th.
While overseas, our mission focused on supporting hurricane recovery and helping restore the Reggae Walk of Fame at Temple X Music Mansion.
Alongside an incredible team, we rebuilt homes, delivered critical supplies, and offered our hands in service where it mattered most with Spike from We Beautify Boats hurricane relief Jamaica

But stepping away from Ontario’s docks also gave me time to think — deeply.
What This Time Away Revealed after We Beautify Boats hurricane relief Jamaica
For years, I’ve taken bold steps to bring innovation and sustainability to Ontario’s marine service space. But the truth is, this industry is facing a tough storm:
BoatersOS was a big risk — without reward
Spikes Marine Station was a big risk — without reward
Our Cashback Loyalty Program — again, a risk without reward
And most recently, Laser Bottom Paint Removal, launched with high hopes, was met with indifference
Despite good intentions and investments made for the community, these initiatives stretched my ability to sustain meaningful growth. And in conversations upon my return to Toronto, I confirmed what I already suspected — many marine operators are still struggling to stay afloat.
Reopening With Purpose — A Clear Mission
Now that we're back, I'm not reopening just to return to business as usual. I'm reopening with one focused goal:
Secure 30 seasonal weekly service contracts for 2026.
So I can hire and sustain 10 skilled marine crew members — on the water, every day.

To meet this goal, we're adjusting our service model in a way that creates consistent presence and supports full-time employment on Ontario’s docks.
Growing Presence Dock-by-Dock
We’re deepening discounts on Level 1 Deck Washes — our most essential, high-frequency maintenance service. The goal? Reclaim our visibility and reliability dock-by-dock across Ontario’s marinas.
Five years ago, I led a team of 15 and we serviced over 40 boats a week. I know that level of presence is possible again — not with flash, but with reliability, precision, and integrity.
Note: All polishing, compounding, and gelcoat protection services will remain pre-requisites for any seasonal contract.
